Entering the Stocktake Count - General

Use this procedure for all stocktake batches except those for serialised items, those sorted by bin locations, or where you want to load the stocktake data from a hand held device or ASCII file.

If you have a master batch and several smaller batches, you need to complete this procedure for each sub-batch before adding it to the master batch.

To enter the stocktake count quantities into a stocktake batch:

  1. Display the Stocktake Batch screen for the required stocktake batch.

Refer to "Creating a New Stocktake Batch" or "Recalling a Stocktake Batch".

The order of the displayed items should match the order on your count sheets.

  1. Either double click on the first item in the list, or select the item and press Enter.

Micronet displays the Enter Stocktake Line screen.

  1. Complete the following fields:

When you have entered the count for the last item in the batch, Micronet redisplays the Stocktake Batch screen.

Technical Tip

You can also select the Cancel button to close the Enter Stocktake Line screen at any time and then select FILE | HOLD to save your changes to that point. This allows you to continue entering the stocktake counts at a later time.

You should now add any smaller batches to the master batch if required, print a Stocktake Processing Report, create a variance batch if required, and then post the batch.
